Emma Ratcliffe
Chartered Physiotherapist & Director
BSc Physiotherapy & HCPC Registered
Emma is an Advanced Clinical Physiotherapist and Director at Mode Physiotherapy. Since qualifying with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from Coventry University, she has specialised in musculoskeletal care, building a career around complex clinical presentations and advanced diagnostic management.
She has completed several postgraduate MSc modules, including ‘Advanced Clinical Diagnostic Management’, equipping her to screen for medical causes of MSK pain and manage intricate conditions with confidence. Her skill set includes access to diagnostic tools such as MRI and X-ray, injection therapy, and onward referral for surgical procedures including hip and knee replacements.
Emma has extensive experience in spinal, hip, knee, and shoulder conditions, with a particular interest in Osteoarthritis. Her patient-centred approach ensures that every individual leaves their initial appointment feeling listened to, reassured, and supported by a clear management plan.
Outside the clinic, Emma is a lover of the outdoors. From hiking and camping adventures in the Lake and Peak Districts to paddle boarding with hopes of soon bringing her Cockapoo along, she balances an active lifestyle with a grounded, personal philosophy: treat patients like you’d treat family.
